The Pilot
Kathy Daily has more than 30 years of experience flying all types of aircraft on 6 continents. She is internationally known as a professional aerobatics and air racing pilot, having flown the famous BD-5 ('the World's Smallest Jet') for Bob Bishop in the world's only civilian jet aerobatics team. She was also a regular competitor at the Reno Air Races. Kathy has flown for airlines, freight companies, and charter companies; among her more exotic flying jobs, she flew for Southern Cross Aviation as an intercontinental ferry pilot and for Polair doing supply runs to arctic research stations and landing Polair's modified DC-3 on the North Pole. Kathy has recently resettled in Vermont after living for many years in California.

The Airplane
The Piper PA-18 SuperCub is a bush plane designed for short takeoff and landing in extreme environments. It is capable of flying safely at very slow speeds and low altitudes. It is an ideal, stable photographic platform, with tandem (front-back) seating for pilot and photographer and the capacity for the whole right hand side of the cockpit to be open during flight.

If you want to see something spectacular, go check out this SuperCub site and the YouTube video of a bush pilot landing a SuperCub on a pile of rocks in the middle of a river in Alaska. BTW we charge extra for this sort of stuff. . .
